From Graduate to Site Liaison & Training Manager – 1 year on


One year on…

I joined Indepth Civil Engineering in August 2017 as a graduate straight from Leeds Beckett University. My role within the company is very bespoke, as I am the link between what happens out on site and in head office. I carry out site audits – ensuring that each site is set up to client and industry standards, as well as managing and co-ordinating both in-house and external training. The diversity of the role is what I love, as no two days are ever the same.

Within the past year I have gained further qualifications including SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme), IOSH Managing Safely, First Aid at Work and Mental Health First Aid. In the Civil Engineering industry, you have to react quickly to situations and working with a highly experienced and reliable team makes challenges much easier to resolve. The whole of the Indepth team have supported me through my first year and I very much feel a part of the family. I was delighted to get a job with a successful and welcoming company like Indepth Civil Engineering and I have relished every opportunity and challenge I have faced.
